every week, i’ll post a different album/song i’ve been into (new or old). this week, i’ve had Snoh Aalegra’s “Don’t Explain” EP on repeat. her song “In Your River” was featured on an apple commercial last year (i’ll post a video below… you might recognize the song once you hear it). she’s got this dope late Amy Winehouse sound (vocally) and the production of the song is super smooooth (imagine this song in a James Bond movie). funny… her vocals were also sampled for Drake’s “Do Not Disturb” track on “More Life”. definitely want to hear more of her. influence.
